Our Volunteers

Volunteers are an established and integral part of the work carried out by Newport Mediation. Our trained volunteer mediators provide benefits to their communities and improve the quality of people’s lives.

With the support of part-time staff the volunteers provide a high quality professional, confidential and impartial community focused conflict resolution mediation service.

Newport Mediation works in a highly professional and sensitive field where recruitment, retenion and training of volunteers is paramount. All of our volunteer Mediators as is a complex skill are trianed to National Open College Network standard level 3 Community Mediation Skills in the communities.
